Shredded tissue makes a present look great

Which colour of shredded tissue to use? Shredded tissue comes in a rainbow of colours to use when wrapping those special gifts. Bottles of wine or unusual shaped perfume bottles are great when wrapped in and placed in a gift bag, it make the present look more interesting and doesnt give the surprise away too much when hidden from view with the shredded tissue in the bag. Shredded tissue is also great for packing around any precious breakables that need storing or when the craft box comes out for the children, you can make some wonderful collages with shredded tissue.

The best Mother’s Day gifts are the surprise ones

My mum is one in a million. She has brought up six children, and remains a doting wife to my dad. She has had several illnesses over the years, but she never complains. She really is an amazing woman, so I have been thinking long and hard about Mother’s Day gifts in recent weeks.
When that special day comes around again, I am determined to make sure she knows how much we all appreciate her. I’m not certain what the gift will be yet, but it may well be related to the West End of London, because she loves the theatre.

Have fun hunting for a Unique Birthday Present

A wonderful unique birthday present could be something that is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for the recipient. This could be a steam train driver experience day and spending a day at the station and then be the train driver, or drive a fast car like a Ferrari or Lotus on a race track. Another unique birthday present could be a hot air balloon soaring in the air at the crack of dawn or at sunset. If that is too adventurous, then another idea for a unique birthday present would be to have an engraved piece of exclusive jewellery that they will always treasure.

Cellophane Wrap adds a Professional Touch

Cellophane wrap is great for wrapping unusual shaped presents such as bottles or gift hampers. It also comes in an assortment of dazzling colours to choose from. If you have some food hampers to wrap I find it best to use Cellophane wrap and you can then add bows and ribbons to make the hampers look like appealing and even luxurious presents. I also use cellophane wrap to dress bottles of Champagne as I often find it easier to use it as it goes around the bottle better and has that professional look about it rather than simply using standard gift paper.

Mothers Day Gift Find her something Special

Something special for a Mothers Day gift is essential. Your mother is a very important person and I always try and get something a little different, like a special cookery course by a well known chef. Of course you cant forget that mums always love their favourite perfume or beauty products and would always welcome more to go on their dressing tables. Another Mothers Day gift that always goes down well is flowers and chocolates and if you want to find something extra special why not take your mum away for a weekend spa break to recharge not only her batteries but yours too.

Using tissue paper adds class

We recently bought our daughter a very beautiful, and very expensive, necklace for her upcoming birthday. She will be 21 next month, and my wife and I really wanted to get her something special. We spent a long time looking for the right thing, and my wife was delighted when she saw this particular one in a jewellery store.
It’s wrapped in tissue paper, and enclosed in a very fancy box. I will also be placing it in a larger carton so she has no idea what will be inside. She’s a wonderful daughter, and we wanted her to know how much we love her.

Enhance that special day with gift wrapping

If you’ve made a special effort to choose the perfect birthday present, perhaps involving trawling the high street or finding something on an obscure website, you’ll want to make sure it’s presented in a stylish and elegant way. It’s no good doing all that work then simply handing it over in a tatty carrier bag.
Use gift wrapping to make it a particularly special occasion. It’s available in so many styles, from bold stripes to plain colours, so it can suit any taste. If you want it to stand out even more, choose a metallic one.

Good Floristry Wrap is all about Presentation

How often have you bought a lovely bunch of flowers for your wife or girlfriend, only to find that the wrapping is a small polythene bag or a crumpled or under-sized sheet of paper. For such a gift of flowers, presentation is everything. When it comes to floristry wrap, insist that the flower seller makes a decent job of wrapping the bunch of carnations or mixed flowers by taking a crisp sheet of paper, placing the flowers carefully in it and rotating the wrapping paper around the bunch to keep the flowers firm and well presented for the moment they are handed over.

Choose the right wrapping paper and make a present sparkle

Weve all had the infuriating moment, having spent time to carefully wrap a present and make the folds even and neat before sticking them precisely into place with tape, only to find that one of the edges of the gift has split the Wrapping paper. Thats the problem when you pick up a roll of paper out of the cheap, special offer box it simply doesnt do the job when hiding the surprise. For someone special, having spent a small fortune on a gift that will delight them, its not such a hard choice to pick out a sturdy and select sheet of paper that will make that gift even more special.
