Great traitement bois on French challets
We have just come back from a fortnight staying in a luxury French challet with some friends.
We were all amazed by the fabulous condition that the challet was in, considering it was relatively old.
The owner of the local pub told us that the french use a special traitement bois, a special type of wood treatment to keep the wood in a better condition for longer.
The treatment is only used on some of the challets, and you can really tell which ones, as they are in so much better condition than the others – we were really hoping to find some of the wood treatment, and take it home to paint our shed and fences!
