How to buy a home

We are trying to buy a home at the moment, and the whole process is very complicated.

We have had some advice from friends and family as to which solicitors we should use, and who we should contract to do our surveys and other such matter, but it is finding the right house that is proving the hard part.

We have visited maybe 20 house in the last few months, and none of them have ticked all the boxes. Some where in great lcoations, but then when we got inside, the layout of the house was all wrong, or the rooms were to small, then with other great proeprties, they were not quite in the right location.

The best bubble wrap suppliers are in the North

We recently have had to ship a large amount of items all over the world, as we have just set up a new business, and orders went through the roof.

We had to go and visit some bubble wrap suppliers, so we choose to go north, as there seemed to be some better deals.

The whole day was fantastic, we were welcomed by some great people, and had some fantastic banter over the day, and eventually came away with a very good deal, from a small independant firm, which we were really happy with.

We will definitely be buying from this compnay again – they were fantastic on price and personality.

Technology new in homes

There has been many advances in the technology now new in homes across the country.

Homes used to be simply errected out of bricks and mortar, and stood the test of time as a shell for people to live in and decorate to their taste.

Nowadays there is so much new technology that can be included in the building of a new house, such as solar panels, underfloor heating and specially controlled systems that allow you to control everything in your house from one remote control.

In some of the bigger houses that are comissioned there are bowling alleys and home cinemas fitted – but this does not happent hat often.

Adopted a souris maison on holiday

Whilst on holiday last week, we were staying in a beautiful old farm cottage in the south of France, and every morning a little house mouse would skuttle across the kitchen floor.

We told the owner about the little mouse, and he said he as the little ‘souris maison‘ of the house, or the little house mouse.

He was very cute, and when we looked inthe guest book for the house we found that someone had nicknamed him Pierre – so the name stuck, and we starting leaving out cheese and biscuits for him.

We were really sad to say goodbye to Pierre at the end of holiday, but no doubt the nxt family in will look after him just as well.

The best cure for ‘raticida’

Whilst holidaying around spain we had a real problem with what the spanish call ‘raticida‘, or mouse control.

As we were staying in relatively cheap hostels, we found that mice were in almost every room that we had booked, it was a bit distrubing at first, but once we found a special tablet that we could put in our rooms, the problem mice seemed to disappear.

Basically we found a tablet at the local store which does not harm the mice at all, but it gives off a smell which they are repelled by, and therefore keeps them away – and made sure we got a full nights sleep!

Invasion by the Spanish cucarachas

We have recently returned from Spain, the holiday was absolutely fantastic, although we were constantly invaded by the spanish ‘cucarachas‘.

These cockroaches were huge, the length of one of my fingers – it was quite scary at first, but once we got used to them we named the three that were always on the balcony of our flat – Henry, Bob and Mary.

So once we were over the cockroaches, it was an amazing holiday – we lazed in the sun, played games in the pool, and even had a go at scuba diving, and we all passed our level one certificate, which means we can now dive in relatively shallow waters.

Moving from abroad to a uk new house

It can be daunting moving from a foreign country into a uk new house, but making sure you get to know the local area quickly will ensure you make new friends quickly.

A new house in the Uk could ber very different from anything you have lived in before abroad.

Britiain has a lot of beautiful charcter properties, that if decorating correctly, can prove to provide a lovely home.

There is such a diverse range of property, that you are always bound to find a property that will suit your taste. One thing to remember to sort out as soon as you enter the uK is your gas, electric and water, so as you are ready from the word go in a nice warm hosue with teh facility to cook!

Take care of face skincare

It is very important that you maintain face skincare to keep your skin looking fresh and young.

One of the best ways to ensure young lokoing skin is to ensure you remove all your makeup before going to bed at night, and use a facial wash in the morning.

Also using moisturiser can prevent your skin from drying out overnight or throughout the day.

If your skin is relatively clear anyway, then using a moisturiser with a hint of colour in, means that you would not even have to wear foundation, meanign your skin will be pore free and beautiful.

Cellophane wrapping for cakes

When shopping for a cake for a specific occassion it is best to find one with cellophane wrapping , as it makes the cake look fantastic, and keeps it fresher for longer.

Whether you are looking for a larger wedding cake, a birthday cake, so simply a nice cake for a special occasion, you can choose to have ti wrapped in cellophane, or if you are careful and trust yourself, you could buy a roll of nicely coloured cellophane and wrap the cake yourself.

This can be tricky if you dcide to go down the route of wrapping it yourslef, so make sure you have a stable work top to work on and go from there.
